Have you ever cried out the four letter word HELP!!!
In Exodus 33:12-21 we read that Moses asked God for help. He was feeling slightly out his depth and in need of encouragement. He was desperate for God to reassure him of his presence with him. We all need a little encouragement at times, especially when we feel overwhelmed or challenged. Moses knew exactly who to turn to and he called out to God and asked God to teach him and be with him.
Moses could have asked God for anything. Solutions, success, even miracles but instead he asked for God himself. The very presence of God. Moses knew, as it says in 2 Corinthians 12:9, that his Grace is sufficient. What about you, do you need help today? Are you looking for encouragement and support? Why not ask God to be with you.
How did God answer Moses cry? Well in verse 14 we read that The LORD replied, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” No matter what you are going through right now, God’s grace is sufficient for you. Ask him to draw close to you and allow his presence and glory to surround you and bring you peace.
